Portugal day 1

Finally, the long-awaited day arrived: the moment when the participating teachers from the different partner countries, who had been collaborating for months through digital tools, were able to meet in person.

This first meeting represented a key milestone in the development of the project, as it allowed the strengthening of previously established professional relationships and the consolidation of collaborative work. Face-to-face interaction facilitated smoother communication, the direct exchange of ideas, and the creation of a climate of trust among participants.

Furthermore, the meeting highlighted the cultural and pedagogical diversity of the partners, enriching the project through the sharing of experiences, methodologies, and educational perspectives. This encounter not only contributed to the achievement of the proposed objectives, but also laid the foundations for stronger and more effective cooperation in the subsequent phases of the project.

The day began with brief presentations from each country, aimed at getting to know one another and establishing a positive and productive working environment. Following these introductions, the Spanish team provided a detailed explanation of the most important aspects required to carry out the project’s financial monitoring, in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Erasmus+ Programme Manual.

Subsequently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Teresa Pombo, who introduced us to Google Earth and demonstrated how it can be integrated as a teaching tool within our project and classroom practices. Her session opened up a wide range of possibilities, which later enabled us to design a specific activity for the mobility in Spain.

After a short break, we moved on to discuss the key activities to be developed within the project. These included the project website (Spain), eTwinning (France), the project logo (Germany), the eBook (Poland), and project dissemination and social media management (Portugal).

Finally, we concluded the day with the Portuguese team, who delivered a presentation on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, followed by an excellent workshop entitled How to Take Photos and Film, led by Daniel Ganço
