France day 1

Monday 17th November – Welcome and Project Consolidation

The mobility officially began with a warm welcome at the host high school. After a meeting with the deputy headmaster and followed by a meeting with the school administration , partners were given a guided tour of the school, the campus and its facilities. This institutional moment allowed all partners to better understand the educational physical and historical contexts in which the project is embedded.

The morning then focused on a mid-term progress update. Partners collectively reviewed the achievements reached halfway through the project: the implementation of eTwinning activities ( Reunion team ), the management of the Erasmus+ grant ( Spanish team) , The importance of dissemination ( Portugal team )  the pedagogical preparation work ( everyone)  , the drafting of the guide ( Polish team )  and the individual student follow-up. This reflective session also served as a transition towards future steps, with a specific focus on preparing the upcoming mobility in Germany, by the German team.

After lunch at the school canteen, we all headed to Tampon to the CAHEP Cooperative of essential oils where we had a sensory activity around perfume. It was the occasion to discover the world of scents and perfumes through essential oils produced locally such as Geranium, Vetiver or Ylang Ylang among others. An activity in which multicultural groups were composed and invited to design and manufacture their own perfume was proposed followed by a visit of the botanical garden.
