Thursday 20th November –Intercultural ExplorationThe fourth day was dedicated to the cultural discovery of the highland area of Plaine des Cafres with the visit of the Volcan, le Piton de la Fournaise, one of the most studied and active in the world. They went on a little hike in order to discover the specificities of a crater. Then, they were given the opportunity to discover the west part of the island to have a large understanding of our singular micro regions with its own particularities and climate. This free yet guided exploration encouraged informal exchanges and strengthened intercultural bonds among participants.
