Day 4 – Literature, creativity and nature in the LANSEN project!
The fourth day of the final meeting of the ERASMUS + LANSEN – Learning Languages with Sense(s) project brought together literature, creativity, and environmental awareness.
The day began with a presentation by students from Murcia, who summarized the different chapters of the famous book The Little Prince. This introduction helped set the context for the activities that followed.
Participants then shared a special moment by reading a short excerpt from the book in all the different languages represented in the room (Spanish, French, Polish, Portuguese, German, Bulgarian, Arabic, Sign language, etc) – highlighting the beauty of linguistic diversity and the European spirit of the project. The reading was followed by a questionnaire where students had to answer questions about different chapters in English and French, directed by Pablo (philosophy teacher), Gema Bueno (French teacher) and EloĆna (Spanish and Universal Literature teacher).
Students then worked in international groups on creative book marks inspired by The Little Prince. Through drawings and visual interpretations, they recreated meaningful phrases from the book while emphasizing the importance of the human senses, a central theme of the LANSEN project.
The day concluded with international groups presenting slide presentations about the natural importance of the Mar Menor, reflecting on its environmental value and the need to protect this unique ecosystem.
