Language learning plays a crucial role in fostering communication and mutual understanding among people with different mother tongues. As a continent defined by its cultural and linguistic diversity, Europe thrives on collaboration and dialogue across borders. Mastering multiple languages not only enhances individual mobility and professional opportunities but also strengthens the sense of shared identity and solidarity among European citizens. In an increasingly interconnected Europe, the ability to communicate in several languages is not just an asset — it is a necessity for building inclusive, cohesive, and forward-looking societies.
The main goal of LANSEN is to promote the learning of English, French, and Spanish through sensory engagement at various levels. For this reason, the entire team has specialized in developing sensory-based language learning approaches, as well as deepening their understanding of neuroscience. This has been made possible through the support of experts across multiple disciplines.
The project includes various mobility opportunities in which both teachers and students will put into practice everything they have learned during their stays. All of this work is compiled in a downloadable eBook, made available to the entire educational community with the aim of enriching the teaching of foreign languages.
