A passionate Physics and Chemistry teacher for 29 years, I approach my work with the exact same joy and dedication today as when I first started. For the past 27 years, I have been teaching within Catholic education, and I am currently based at the Lycée La Salle Saint-Charles in Saint-Pierre, where I guide and support 10th and 11th-grade students (classes de seconde et de première). For me, teaching is far more than just a job; it is a meaningful space for connection. I love tailoring my approach to meet my students’ unique needs, experimenting with innovative learning methods, and watching my students grow—and I am fortunate to share a wonderful relationship of mutual trust and respect with them.
My journey has always been driven by a love for continuous learning and professional sharing. As a certified training designer (concepteur de formation) and a trainer of trainers (formateur de formateurs), I thoroughly enjoy developing dynamic and collaborative educational programs. Furthermore, because the safety and well-being of my colleagues are incredibly important to me, I have long been a very active member of my school’s health and safety initiatives, ensuring that everyone can work in a safe and supportive environment.
Recently, the Erasmus+ adventure and the Lansen project marked a beautiful turning point in my life. Exchanging ideas with colleagues from various European cultures was an immensely enriching experience that truly boosted my confidence and broadened my horizons. This spark is what inspires me today to take my English language journey even further, allowing me to keep growing and building connections across borders.
When I step out of the science lab, I dive into the world of fitness, another great passion of mine. Holding a French State Diploma as a Sports Instructor (Diplôme d’État d’Éducateur Sportif) in fitness, this discipline brings me the energy, focus, and balance that fuel my daily life—positive values that I strive to share with those around me every single day.
